[mcjugglers-announce] Call-list for last-minute changes

Jugglers,

This week when club members arrived at the Pawley Hall atrium, they  
discovered that the atrium was unavailable. Building administration  
did not provide us with advanced warning about atrium unavailability,  
so we were unable to notify members ahead-of-time. To compound the  
matter, neither were any of the normal rooms at Varner Hall  
available. After some scrambling and a good deal of telephoning one  
another, several regular club members managed to meet and juggle in a  
hallway within Varner Hall.

Although infrequent, this sort of situation does arise periodically.  
In order to simplify the task of notifying people of these extremely  
late-breaking changes or cancelations, we are setting up an official  
call-list. If you would like to be on this list, please send me a  
phone number at which you can be reached (preferably for a mobile  
phone) along with your first and last name. The call list is intended  
for last-minute notifications only. Other cancelation or relocation  
notices will be made, as usual, via the web site and this mailing list.

As a final note, it is recommended that you copy down some of the  
phone numbers from the "Contact Us" web site page (http:// 
www.mcjugglers.org/contact_us/) and add them to your cell phone or  
carry them with you on juggling nights in case you arrive and fail to  
find other jugglers at the expected location. Call one or more of the  
contact numbers to determine if there has been a last-minute change  
of location.
